New York Buffalo Wings & Ribs latest location in Chula Vista, CA

Yesterday for dinner, I was anticipating checking out the new restaurant, New York Buffalo Wings & Ribs which is located at 333 H Street, Suite 1025; Chula Vista, CA 91910. (619)- 934- 5753; www.nywingsandribs.com. They had just opened this location about two weeks ago.

We had tried their family combo of a half rack of baby back ribs along with twelve wings which runs for $26.99.  New York Buffalo Wings & Ribs family combos are such a SPECTACULAR deal!! All of the family combos include twelve breadsticks, french fries, dressing, vegetables, and a 2 liter soda to go along with the meal. We had tried the teriyaki and the mild flavor for the wings. Both flavors were equally appetizing! :)

If you happen to order any of their baby back rib combos, it includes one EXTRA side! :) You can select from one of the following sides: macaroni salad, potato salad, coleslaw salad, baked macaroni and cheese, or baked beans.

Besides ordering the family combo of the half rack of baby back ribs and the twelve wings, we couldn't resist ordering a regular order of their Buffalo Chipotle French Fries which costs $6.45. A regular order of Buffalo Chipotle French Fries is a sufficient amount of food for two people to share. If you don't think the regular size Buffalo Chipotle French Fries is enough, then be sure to order their large portion for $8.49.

Cooking a whole chicken for dinner.

Tonight for dinner I had cooked roasted chicken. It's been a while since I had cooked a roasted chicken. Prior to adding the herbs, I had drizzled the chicken with olive oil.
For the chicken I've used the following herbs: rosemary, basil, ground black pepper, a dash of sea salt, garlic powder, doused with two slices of lemon, garlic powder, five spice powder, and Durkee's Grill Creations Kansas City Style Grill chicken seasoning. Below this picture, is the finished roasted chicken.

Dinner @ Kanpai! (Japanese restaurant)

For dinner, my family and I ate at Kanpai in Chula Vista. We have been eating at this Japanese restaurant for many years.
I ordered yosenabe, a seafood hot pot with vegetables, tofu, and siphon noodles.

If you want to order yosenabe here, it costs $13.95. Just wished that Kanpai could have given me more seafood in the soup. It is understandable with everyone cutting back.

Li Hing Mui Powder- Chinese Hawaiian seasoning

Sunday, October 20th, 2013

Good morning everyone! :) My boyfriend Honesty and I enjoy eating JADE's- Li Hing Powder. Li Hing is grounded prune powder.

We enjoy adding a dash of Li Hing powder on top of sliced apples. Although, feel free to add Li Hing powder to any other fruits. So far, we have tried both the red and purple Li Hing powders. In my personal opinion, I prefer the original red Li Hing powder.

You are probably wondering where you can find Li Hing powder. Jade's- Li Hing Powder can be found in Waipahu, Hawaii or pretty much anywhere else in Hawaii. Just make sure to ask a local. To try Jade's Li Hing powder, you can contact JADE directly at:
